Many of us take full advantage of the benefits that modern media and technology have to offer in our daily lives and work.  Often, tech savvy individuals find it hard to disengage from media at home and consequently their relationships suffer.   In a revised policy statement on Children, Adolescents, and the Media, the American Academy of Pediatrics states their concerns about increasing media use in the lives of young people.  Are your family relationships negatively affected by the use of media in your home?   Phillip Telfer discusses the AAP policy statement, shares his own concerns, and recommends some helpful solutions to this common struggle.
